#OOTD The Flattering Blouse You NEED in Your Closet

Say goodbye to your basic blouses… for good. The wardrobe staple has undergone reconstructive surgery and is back, better than ever. This season’s blouse trend calls for lots of drama. Maybe it’s a giant sash to cinch the waist, maybe even a cold shoulder.. but almost always statement sleeves! This black off-the-shoulder gem is from Chelsea28 at Nordstrom. Usually, I shy away from anything loose and flowy on the top but this is an exception because it’s just so flattering. The long, draping sleeves are so much fun to play with and they bring so much life and movement to the outfit. I only wish they had made this blouse in other colors because I would have bought them all… it’s actually a good thing they didn’t.

I styled this blouse with my favorite denim leggings (I refuse to admit I wear something called”jeggings”) nude Valentino rock studs, which are the most comfortable designer heels on the market, gold mirrored Chanel sunglasses and my Reagan Charleston gold tote bag. The blouse is so light and airy, I will be wearing it every chance I get this season. The length is perfect to wear with jeans, shorts or a fitted skirt for an ultra feminine ensemble.

Side note worth mentioning, if you live in Miami or ever visit and you’re looking for a great juice bar you have to check out Green Berry Fresh. The Coral Gables location is the most convenient for me and I love their green detox juice and acai bowls. Whoever decided that those things were health food deserves a medal in my opinion. They are so delicious….
