Black, White, Beige, Gold and Red. These color codes were used by Coco Chanel when she created her first fashion line. Today, we still regard them as the staples of modern fashion and beauty. La Maison Chanel has reinterpreted and reimagined these colors countless times, but this time, the color codes of CHANEL have been given new life thanks to Global Beauty Designer Lucia Pica. In her third collection for the brand, Pica has once again challenged traditional beauty notions while maintaining balance and wearability.
The Spring 2017 Coco Codes Collection includes a limited edition Coco Code Harmony blush ($70), my personal favorite blush Elegance ($45) which is not limited, two brown waterproof eyeliners ($33), six lipsticks ($37), four nail vernis and two eyeshadow palettes #274 Codes Elegants and #278 Codes Subtils ($61). The three lipsticks I bought are Rouge Allure #176 Indepedante, Rouge Allure Velvet #62 Libre and Rouge Coco Shine #126 Beige Dore.
This collection is so classic and versatile, it could easily be the only makeup you ever wore, ever again. That may seem dramatic but you can achieve daytime, evening and special occasion looks that are feminine and easy to achieve. I created two of my favorite go to makeup tutorials using this collection for my YouTube channel!
