The Beauty Toolbox | $400 DYSON Supersonic Hair Dryer Review & Demo

I’ve been on the nice list all year-long and Santa must have noticed because he delivered the DYSON Supersonic hair dryer a few days early… just in time for me to create a review before Christmas! For a long-haired beauty enthusiast, the DYSON is a dream come true. I’ve had the privilege of being trained on this product from DYSON education executives at work and I think that’s what got me hooked. From the outside looking in a $400 hair dryer doesn’t just sound like a splurge, it sounds like a giant rip-off… but if you know what this hairdryer can do for you it makes perfect sense.

Pros of the DYSON Supersonic hair dryer

  • Three magnetic styling attachments
  • Measures the temperature 20 times per second to prevent overheating
  • 3 heat settings, 3 air speeds
  • Motor in the base to give more control and eliminate “hammer effect”
  • Easy to clean filter
  • 5 year warranty
  • Dries hair 6 times faster
  • Storage case, mat and information booklet
  • cool shot button
  • Powerful supersonic technology

You can see my full unboxing, review and tutorial on YouTube below! I knew I would love this beauty tool but I had no idea just how fast it would dry my hair and how soft it would feel. I can honestly say even with high expectations I was blown away (pun intended).

For a limited time, you can purchase the dryer with the case ($50 value) in a really convenient box. The magnetic attachments are amazing because it gives you style options with ease. Be sure to register your hair dryer on the DYSON website to take advantage of the five-year warranty!
