Afternoon tea at the Biltmore Hotel is one of my favorite things to do in Miami. ‘Old World’ charm oozes from every detail of the newly renovated lobby. The interior decor is both grand and inviting with gorgeous velvet upholstered chairs, floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with soft, natural light and giant pillars that guide your eyes up to the royal blue painted ceiling. Built in the 1920’s, the Biltmore Hotel has a long history of style and elegance. Nearly a century later, this jewel in the heart of Coral Gables has maintained it’s status as the gold standard of excellence.
Tea is served on beautiful crisp white china with an assortment of treats from savory to sweet. My favorite dessert is the raspberry chocolate macarons, they almost look too pretty to eat… almost! Tea is served in the new lobby Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00pm and 3:30pm and reservations are recommended.
